crazydeveloper Insertion Sort - Sorting Algorithms

Insertion Sort

In previous post in data structure we discussed about Bubble Sort and today we will discuss about Insertion Sort. After Bubble Sort, It is a simple Sorting algorithm which sorts the array by shifting elements one by one. Insertion Sort is a simple sorting algorithm that works the way we sort playing cards in our hands.

But in our card example, the new card could be smaller than some of the cards you're already holding, and so you go down the line, comparing the new card against each card in your hand, until you find the place to put it. You insert the new card in the right place, and once again, your hand holds fully sorted cards. Then the dealer gives you another card, and you repeat the same procedure. Then another card, and another card, and so on, until the dealer stops giving you cards.

crazydeveloper Can an abstract class have a constructor?

Can an abstract class have a constructor?

Hi guys, today we will discuss some unclear concept of abstract class. Tell me one thing that, can an abstract class have a constructor? If your answer is yes then what is the use?

Most of times we heard what is an abstract class, use of an abstract class and difference between abstract class and interface? Today we will move forward and discuss a new topic, constructor in an abstract class and their use.

First I give you answer what I asked, yes an abstract class can have a constructor. Confused?

crazydeveloper Bubble Sort - Sorting Algorithm

Bubble Sorting

In application development there are lot of scenario comes when we need to sorting our listed or arrays data. Provided list or array can be n number size. So when we write a code to sorting that data, we should consider the most efficient way to do that, because that process impact on your application performance base on time & space complexity. So for that you'll need a sorting algorithm. To understand the more complex and efficient sorting algorithms, it's important to first understand the simpler, but slower algorithms.

Bubble Sort is the simplest sorting algorithm that works by repeatedly swapping the adjacent elements if they are in wrong order.

crazydeveloper Magic of Sql Server with Update query

Magic of SQL Server

Today we will talk about magic of Sql Server. There is a scenario, we need to swap value between two columns, what will be sql query for that?

crazydeveloper Insert data from XML to database

Today someone asked me, how to insert data from XML to Database?

Now we are going to insert the values of an XML file to a Database Table using SQL Insert Command . Here the Dataset using an XmlReader for read the content of the XML file - SampleProduct.XML . Locate the XML file using XmlReader and pass the XmlReader as argument of Dataset. Also establish a connection to the Database using a connectionstring . After getting the data from XML file to the Dataset , we can loop through the dataset values and use insert command to add the values to the Product table in the Databse...

crazydeveloper What are Indexers in C# ?

In c# introduce new concept is Indexer. This is very useful for some situation. Let as discuss something about Indexer.

Indexers help us to simplify the way to access a collection for a class.

Summarizing in a sentence -  Indexers help to access contained collection  with in a class using a simplified  interface. It's a syntactic sugar.

  • Indexer Concept is object act as an array.
  • Indexer an object to be indexed in the same way as an array.
  • Indexer modifier can be private, public, protected or internal.
  • The return type can be any valid C# types.
  • Indexers in C# must have at least one parameter. Else the compiler will generate a compilation error.

crazydeveloper Context vs Scope in JavaScript

Hi friends, today we will discuss and understand the most importand part 'Scope and Context' in JavaScript. Often people confuse when they talk about Scope and Context in JavaScript.
Scope use to the variables and functional access of JavaScript function, but when we talk about Context, it is the properties and method access of a JavaScript function.
When we analyze the Context vs Scope then we find that both are not same. I met lots of developers and noticed many of them confuse with these and be frank they mixed both to each other.

crazydeveloper JavaScript - null and undefined

Both null and undefined can be regarded as a special value that indicates "no value".

The null is a language keyword (in fact, it is a primitive ) which is used to indicate the expected lack of value. On the other hand, undefined is a predefined global variable that has a deeper meaning and is used to indicate an error-like, unexpected lack of value.
